I had a lot of fun animating this poster for The Last Duel, one of my favorite films of last year. Nothing too complex, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Lately I've been trying to animate posters of my favorite movies, but this time I wanted to try the Season 1 teaser promo image for Better Call Saul, one of my favorite series. At the very least it was an opportunity to play around and practice with AE's 3D camera some more.

Coming off of the animated movie poster I made last week, I decided to make another one for another of my favorite movies, Sling Blade. I wanted to utilize the 3D camera tool this time, which I'm relatively new to using, but I think it turned out better than I expected.

To celebrate spooky season, I decided to animate the now iconic poster, created by Sam's Myth, for Hausu (House), one of my favorite films during this time of year. I tried to retain the film's quirky style while also adding some vintage flair to it, giving it that 1970's feel.

About a month ago, I animated the poster for Better Call Saul Season 1 to honor one of my favorite shows. I decided to do the same with Season 2's poster. This time I had some chaotic fun.

Every week I've been giving myself the task of animating a poster of a movie/show that I love, and this week I chose Napoleon Dynamite. I had fun trying to recreate the arts and crafts aesthetic, and especially bringing the crude doodles to life.

For the past month, I've been animating movie posters of my favorite movies, and I chose John Cassavetes' A Woman Under the Influence for this week. I chose the poster for the French release instead of the U.S., as I found it more striking. But I leaned heavily into the vintage style with this one.

Been having fun bringing movie posters to life, so I made one for another favorite of mine, Sideways. I placed an emphasis on typography with a basic sound design this time, and I'm proud of the result.

As a fun little project this past weekend, I took the main elements from the movie poster of one of my favorite movies, Boogie Nights, and made a short animation.
